Focus:
Kiln: A structure built to fire clay at high temperatures.
Electric Kiln: It has evenly spaced heating elements that encircle the firing chamber. Safer and cleaner than other power sources; however, if inside, it needs to be well ventilated to let carbon monoxide and other gases out of room. Temperature is controlled by a setting and a timer that automatically goes on or off.
Gas Kiln: Fueled by natural gas via a hookup to a tank. They can be hand built using soft bricks. Control temperature by increasing or decreasing the amount of fuel used during firing.

*Both Symmetrical and Organic Pinch Pots should be completed by Wednesday.
*Have your Themed Pot with Lid approved by me before starting.
