What are the steps for adding a foot to your pot?  

Objectives:

*Continue to create symmetrical pinch pot.

*Continue or start creating organic pinch pot.

*Continue to work on wedging skills.

*Put foot on pot(s).

*Burnish symmetrical pinch pot, if it is ready.

 

Closure:  (Write this definition)

 

Burnishing:  Polishing the surface of a leather-hard pot to compact it and produce and maintain a sheen at low firing temperatures.  Objects such as a smooth stone or the back of a spoon are good burnishing tools.
