{Ceramics 1}

Happy New Year!  Welcome back.

Wheel: (Thursday, Friday, Monday) *If we do not have school tomorrow, it will be Thursday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Block 3/4: Neil, Annie, Madison, and Olivia
Block 9/10:  Amiel, Jazmine, Martina, and Marcus

You have 2 weeks left to work with wet clay--January 14th is the last day!

Focus: Which clay stage retains the most moisture?  Bone dry, Plastic, Leather hard.

Objectives:
   1.  Recycle clay, if needed.
   2.  Continue working on combination pot:

                1.  7 inches tall 

                2. incorporate coil and/or slab to pinch pot.

                3.  should show 2 out of this list:

                 1. relief

                 2. etching

                 3. carving

                 4. texture

   3.  Finish up any other pots that need to be 
        turned in by the end of the Quarter: Tripod
       Pot, Coil Pot, Slab Box, and Combination
       Pot.
